The BÜCHL Group has issued its first declaration on the German Sustainability Code (DNK). The DNK declaration summarizes the opportunities and challenges as well as the goals and measures of the BÜCHL Group for sustainability. With the DNK declaration, BÜCHL fulfills customer requirements, transparently discloses sustainability goals and prepares itself in good time for the upcoming statutory reporting obligations. At the same time, the DNK declaration is another important step towards professionalizing and strengthening the BÜCHL Group’s commitment to sustainability. A compact sustainability report – as already published in 2019 – is to follow.

The newly appointed sustainability strategy team monitors the implementation of sustainability targets and coordinates reporting. The team meets regularly and plans the next steps on the road to sustainability. INAS – Institut für angewandte Nachhaltigkeit GmbH, a member of the BÜCHL Group, is responsible for the project management for the development of the declaration and sustainability management.
