BÜCHL. AN IDEA AHEAD. True to our guiding principle, we are proud to be one of the few waste management companies in Germany to have implemented an environmental management system. We were audited externally for the first time in October 2022 and have been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 ever since.

Environmental protection must not be a hobby, it is one – if not the only – challenge of our time. We see it as our duty to do our bit and protect our region, our home and the future of its people.

We therefore systematically address questions such as: What environmental impacts do we generate and what measures do we take to act as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible? What demands do our customers, business partners, neighbors, authorities and society place on us to protect the environment?

In 2021, we analyzed our carbon footprint for the first time and published our sustainability report in accordance with the DNK (German Sustainability Code) standard. We scrutinize our daily actions and our procurement with regard to all aspects of sustainability and set new standards for investment decisions.
