November 2023. Representatives of the district of Pfaffenhofen, including KEI board member Arthur Kraus and the two board members Andreas Herrschmann and Reinhard Heinrich, visited the plant to find out how a modern biogas plant works and how it is operated. BioIN made particular reference to the sharp rise in safety and certification requirements, the close cooperation with regional agriculture, the opportunities as a producer of renewable energy, but also the daily challenges in plant operation and volume procurement.
